Check up and Tests

Yesterday was a busy day. Londyn had her 18 month check up. 34 inches tall (98%), 25 lb 11 oz (50th-70th) and her head well still off the chart but curving nicely...LOL. She just had to have one shot her HEP A and to hear great news no more shots until Kindergarden with the exception of the yearly flu.

The Dr also did her development test and she is right where she is suppose to be and very advanced in language skills..HELLO THE KID LIKES TO TALK, NOT SURE WHERE SHE GETS THAT:). The Dr was amazed that she is already putting 2 words together. Londyn is repeating everything and learning something new everyday, its really fun to watch her explore the world around her and watch her imagination grow. She has such an amazing imagination its just so interesting to watch her play with her dolls and her fairies, she got them for Christmas and they have a little house so girlie and sooooo cute!!!! I bought them from One step ahead. If you haven checked them out they have some really great learning toys. http://www.onestepahead.com/home.jsp
Some of her favorite words include, eddie, archie and coop, Papa and Nana, play, she just started saying Harper and her name. She also says rice, please, thank you, pop pop (popsicle), potty, dora, beat (fresh beats), car, cat, dog, flower, train, shoes, nap, nite, apple, sandwich, juice milk, more and cry On top of the regulars mom, dad, bye, hi, no, yes. and a whole bunch more that i can't think of. she puts together the words baby cry and a few others. she can point to all her body parts and she can make some animal sounds when asked what sound the cow, dog, cat, horse and frog make.  We are starting to work with her on colors. She can say them but not associate yet.

Thank god my pediatrician is in the same building as the hospital b/c harper had to have some tests run in the radiology dept so it was so convenient to be able to go to both appointments and not have to run all over town.  Harpers tests all went well and the results were very good
